In a recent mobile banking research study, results show that 50 percent of all smartphone owners used mobile banking within the last 30 days and that 76 percent of mobile banking users were satisfied with their experience – a 16 percentage point gain in satisfaction from 2010.
One of Australia’s big four banks has signed up to use a new service from HP that will allow it to securely process and manage transactions using prepaid cards. HP has previously provided processing services and systems for credit, debit and merchant acquiring cards – this is the first time it has ventured into the growing prepaid card space.
