Paul has worked in financial services for over 20 years, with over 15 years specialising in the Cards and Payment Industry. Paul has performed roles as a software developer, designer, business process consultant, manager card systems development; project manager/director and strategy consultant. Paul has worked on credit card projects in more than 10 countries involving credit card issuers, acquirers, processors; most of this experience coming since starting Card Smart in 1997. Paul lives in Melbourne with his wife and 4 children.

Matthew has worked in financial services for over 20 years which includes over 15 years experience in Cards and Payment industry and significant experience in core banking. Matthew has enjoyed a wide variety of roles covering both technical and business fields, from the hands-on to management and directorship roles. He has had the privilege to travel extensively throughout his career, experiencing different organisations, different cultures and the dealing with some unique challenges along the way. Outside of work, besides his wife and daughter, Matthew has a passion for Rugby and other sports. Matthew is an accredited Certified Practicing Project Manager with the Australian Institute of Project Management and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jess has been involved in the finance industry for the past 30 years and specialised in the cards industry for the past 25 years. Jess has held positions in several major banks including Manager Tandem development & Support and Manager CardPac development. Jess has also held positions with Credit Card Software development companies including Senior Manager Client Services and Manager Business Development. His current position with Card Smart as a Director involves local and overseas New Business Development, Client Management and Resource Management as well as Management of an offshore development site. Jess is a Member of the Institute of Company Directors.

Chris has worked in the finance industry for the past 20 years with the majority of that time spent working in cards. Chris has held a wide variety of positions in several major financial organisations in Australia and New Zealand including American Express, Citibank, The Bank of New Zealand, The Colonial State Bank and Cards Etc., prior to joining Card Smart Consulting in 2003. Chris has held positions in systems analysis, business analysis, product development, project management, implementation and conversion management and specialises in emerging cards technologies and products such as EMV, contactless and prepaid cards. Outside of work Chris is kept busy raising a young family and pursuing his passion for flying, in which he holds a current Pilot's licence.

For over 20 years Barry has been working in the finance industry, specialising in the cards and payments area for over 10 years. Barry has held positions in a large number of banks both in Australia and overseas. These roles have included software developer, designer, systems analyst, business analyst, product developer, project manager and portfolio conversion manager.
